Nevus Sebaceus

This photo shows a nevus sebaceus, which is a type of birthmark that usually appears on the scalp. This birthmark is most commonly noncancerous (benign) and may have pigmentation and sebaceous (oil gland) tissue. It may develop into basal cell carcinoma over time.
